After Jaguar XFR, Jaguar XKR and Jaguar XF, Tata motor launched a new car for India as Jaguar XJ 5.0L. This car is firstly shown in London in 2009 and Ratan Tata announced that Jaguar XJ 5.0L would be launched in India as the occasion of New year. And In Auto Expo 2010, Jaguar XJ come to India. Finally Tata launched it in India. And the price of this car is approximate Rs 9500000 in Delhi, India.

New Jaguar XJ 5.0L have a 5.0 L supercharged AJ 8-cylinder V GEN III petrol engine. In this power engine, it have 8 cylinder and in each cylinder it have four valve which give a 5000cc displacement of this car. So this technology produced a maximum power of 385 PS at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 515 Nm at 3500 rpm. Jaguar have a 6 speed transmission gear system that ensures drivers to change the gears manually without operating the clutch. The all-new Jaguar XJ luxury sedan is having a lot of new technology and features as LED tail lights, Active Differential Control, air suspensions, Adaptive Dynamics (continuously variable damping), quick power steering, four zone climate control, rain sensing windscreen wipers, front parking aid, 12.3 inch full colour TFT-LCD instrument cluster with virtual information display and the list goes on and on.  

Jaguar XJ 5.0L give a mileage of 5.8 kmpl in city and 10.5 kmpl on highway. And top speed 155 mph. And it will be available in 14 different colour as Porcelain White, Ebony, Botanical Green Metallic, Caviar Metallic, Liquid Silver Metallic, Lunar Grey Metallic, Vapour Grey Metallic, Pearl Grey Metallic, Spectrum Blue Metallic, Frost Blue Metallic, Indigo Metallic, Ultimate Black Metallic, Claret Metallic and Cashmere Metallic.
