$ Toyota Launched New Corolla Altis Diesel
Toyota Kirlosker Motor has launched the new model of Corolla Altis Diesel. And gave a name of this car is D4-D. Here D means Diesel. Corolla Altis is a luxury sedan cars. This car is launched in the presence of Sandeep Singh (DMD), Hiroshi Nakagawa (MD) and Vikram Kirlosker (Vice chairman). In India, Toyota already launched its Petrol version. Corolla Altis is available as 1.8J, 1.8G, 1.8GL, 1.8VL and 1.8 sports model in petrol version. The Price range of petrol version is 9.9 lakh to 11.4 lakh and in diesel version, its range is 10.89 lakh to 13.83 lakh.
New Launched Toyota Prius in India
Toyota wants to develop a eco-friendly vehicle for safe environment, and finally Toyota launched this eco-friendly vehicle in Auto Expo 2010 at Delhi. And It is known as “Toyota PRIUS”. Toyota Prius is luxury small hatchback. And Its Price around 27 to 29 lakh. Toyota launched it two model Z3 and Z4. And More then 50 Prius already booked till now. Toyota Prius manufactured in Japan and It would be imported from Japan and Toyota make a target to sell 200 cars in India in time range March to December 2010. This Car concept is very good for save fuel and low emission engine.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor to open R&D in INDIA
Toyota is Japanese car make company. And Toyota see the Indian auto market in last few years. They observed all condition and facility to capture more auto market of India. So Toyota start planning to open a Research and development facility and engine plant in India. Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor(TKM) Hiroshi Nakagawa said one of the option being considered now is to set up a R&D facility in India. And this proposal at the discussion stage. And also said that Toyota will set up an engine plant only when its annual sales in India reaches 200,000 units-plus.Toyota’s engine plant may be set up in Bangalore?.
