16 sep 2009 is a special day for India because Today Yamaha Motors Ltd launch a super power bike of India. This bike is called by the name “VMAX”. Japanese Bike maker company Yamaha launched with 1,679 cc power engine. And its showroom price is 20 lakh in India.
India Yamaha Motor Managing Director and CEO Yuki Mine Tsuji told to news channels. "I am hopeful that these bikes will get the same kind of enthusiastic response as our recently-launched other products got. The company has registered a year-on-year growth of 80 per cent during the month of January to August and we expect the coming months to be also fruitful."
The Yamaha also launched limited edition of this ‘FZ’ series in three variants and also looking for 30 per cent share in the deluxe and premium bike segment.
