Maruti is a India’s best selling Car maker company. After a success of small car making, Maruti launched a sport looking car which is known as Swift. Swift launched with Petrol and Diesel engine.In Petrol engine, Swift have four model as LXI, VXI, VXI ABS and ZXI ABS+Airbag And in diesel engine it have three model as LDI Diesel, VDI Diesel,VDI Diesel ABS. Maruti Swift compete Chevrolet U-VA and Hyundai Gets. Here we are discus with its diesel engine only.
Maruti Suzuki launched a diesel Swift with 1.3 liter and 1.5 liter DDiS diesel engine which give 1248 cc cubic capacity with 4 cylinder , 190 Nm max torque and 76 Ps max power. It have 1075 kg kerb weight. Swift have 5 speed manual gear, 43 liter full tank, anti locking breaking system,power window, alloye wheels and for entertainment Maruti provide stereo. It have 19.5 kmpl average fuel economy.It get 100kmph race in only 14.18 sec. And it have top speed 164 kmph.
Overall i give 4.5 rating out of 5 because its have less feature like it is not have air bag for security and transaction control. And in looking Maruti gives street fighter looks. And it is available in many color.
