Alto is a musical term, derived from the Latin word altus, that meaning is "high".  Like its meaning, It is a also reached at highest position in car market and currently it became a one of the best selling car of India. and its slogan is ‘Alto Lets go’ which is perfect for this car.Firstly Maruti launched a maruti 800 with 5 gears but after some time Maruti close its production and launched a new model Alto with same feature of 800 five speed gear.

Alto have a FC engine with 3 cylinder MPFI and each cylinder have 4 valve. And this engine is produce the displacement of 796cc with maximum power and maximum torque as 47@5000bhp and 6.3@3000kgm respectively. And also have a kerb weight of 725/740kgs. This engine is control by 32 bit computer. 

And Maruti Suzuki will launch alto with new look in out of india as following image. And also plan to launch in India.
