At the successful launch, chief commercial officer of Aston Martin , Bill Donnelly said, “India represents a new opportunity for us and as part of our programme of growing the reach of the global Aston Martin dealership network, this expansion brings our brand to a different audience in a new market”

The British car maker’s range includes the exclusive One-77, the four-door sports car Rapide, the DBS Coupe, the DBS Volante, the DB9, the V12 Vantage, the V8 Vantage Coupe, and the V8 Roadster. The recently launched V8 Vantage S, and the new Virage complete the range.

The One-77 is the exclusive limited edition brand flagship and is priced at Rs 20 crore plus. The 7.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 under its hood makes 710PS and 750Nm. The rest of the range is priced more ‘sanely’ ranging between Rs 1.35 crore and Rs 2.69 crore. At the top are the DBS Coupe and Volante (Rs 2.6 and Rs 2.69 crore respectively) which feature a front-mid mounted 48-valve 6-litre V12 that brings 517PS and 570Nm to the superb looking two-door sportscars. Then come the DB9 Coupe and the Volante at Rs 1.9 crore and 1.95 crore respectively featuring a 477PS 6-litre V12 making 600Nm, both claiming a 4.8 second run to 100kmph. The cheapest Astons will be the Rs 1.35 crore and Rs 1.4 crore (respectively) V8 Vantage Coupe and Roadster which employ a smaller 426PS 4.7-litre V8 to hit 100kmph in 4.9 seconds. The Vantage will sport a 517PS 6-litre V12. The car that’s expected to do the most business will likely be the Rs 2.15 crore four-door Rapide, featuring the same engine as the DB9 twins.
